Truly we are blessed. And we express our thankfulness with our time, talent and treasure. Here are some of the organizations we support.

Africa New Life exists to transform lives and communities. Our model of caring for the whole child recognizes that, with educational sponsorship at the core of our work, children need other key factors to succeed: growing faith, community development, and a healthy body.

Since 2001, Africa New Life has shared the Gospel using two hands: the hand of compassion and the hand of evangelism. Our goal is to see lives transformed through meeting basic needs, to give hope for the future for those living in poverty in Rwanda. At the heart of our model for breaking cycles of poverty is educational sponsorship. With a high school education, or a vocational equivalent, children in Rwanda have hope for the future.

Africa New Life is accredited by the ECFA, and is committed to financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and the proper use of charity resources.

Kinship House provides comprehensive outpatient therapy and advocacy for children who are experiencing foster care and adoption. Powered by the belief that all children deserve a safe family and the support to thrive, they serve over 500 children each year.

Kinship House knows that when children have access to mental health services and strong advocates for their well-being they are happy and healthy today, and can work toward bright futures for tomorrow.

For over twenty years, Kinship House has been a key intervention in the pathway to children building permanency and stability for a healthy, vibrant future. Since day one they have provided services to all children and families, regardless of barriers such as ability to pay, insurance, or length of treatment needed, and they’ve done so out of a house. Almost since the band’s beginning, Gerry has held the position of 1st chair section leader.

Throughout the years, the group has represented the local community, as well as Oregon.

In 2013, the band was awarded the International Sudler Silver Scroll Award presented by the John Philip Sousa Foundation.

The band traveled to Washington D.C. in 2016 to participate in the National Festival of the States in recognition of the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.
